The SVO GUI proposal, what do you think?

== Menus ==

The SVO GUI contains 3 types of menus.
* The Mouse Right-click menu (radial)
* The Mouse hover left top menu (list, similar to the current SVO menu)
* Default EB menu, pops up when hitting the action button

=== Hover Menu ===

* Should be the same as the old SVO menu list.

=== Radial Menu ===

* See some of the modern Windows radial docks.

=== EB Menu ===

* There's two options, either have the action button there or replace it (along with rearranging it a bit) with a quests button. Then the menu would only pop up when there's nothing to interact with when hitting the action button. The advantage of this is that people don't have to hit the action button twice when wanting to interact with something. On the other side if we keep the action button quests should be integrated into the status window.

== Main Game GUI ==

* As you can see the franklin badge shows the map data (should be semi-transparant until mouse hover or a menu is opened)
* There's a hover zone on the left top, once the mouse enters that area the hover menu drops down.
* As for the user data (HP, PP window) it should have a pinpoint so people can have it on their screen all the time if they wish to do that.

* The EB menu is navigated by the arrow keys, the dropdown and radial are used by the mouse. In case the user wants to use the arrow keys for movement, the player will temporarily not be able to move until he closes the menu.
* Once one menu is open, you cannot open up another menu.

=== Franklin Badge ===

* The franklin badge shows the mapname and X&Y when the map isn't in the possession of the player.
* Maps are acquired through quests (e.g. the Onett map is given by the librarian)
* When the player has the map of the area he's in, the franklin badge transforms into a part of the mini map (see http://www.maniasarcania.com/wp-content/uploads/2007/10/ptr230_minimap_r...).
* Clicking on the badge makes the entire minimap popup, but can also be shown when a player hits a button (for example M)

well i never used the action button in EB. (Mother 2)

I used R, as it was the shortkey for action.

I only used the action button to bring up the menu.

I say have the action key bring the menu, and have a short-action key.
