My first sprite
My first character sprite!
Although I admit I kinda cheated, its not pixel art (because I totally fail at that) I did this in flash.
This is for my new game I want to make (its going to be 8-directional isometric). Although for the amount of time this took, I'm not sure I wanna do the graphics on my own anymore.
You may notice the palette isn't very extensive, and there is lots of colour re-use. I'm working on it, I'm planning on redoing the colours for this once I find some more colours and make my palette bigger and better. I will also hopefully try and make an effort to at least finish one 8-directional sprite with animations.

But seriously, I actually can't find anything at fault with it, except maybe the palette is a bit pastel for my taste.
Now go and make a Flash MMO so I can fap you know what never mind.

Yeah the belts and boots shouldn't be that light brown (it uses a light shirt palette atm), and I wanted the gloves to have a gold rim, but that was all I had at the time. Ill look for some stronger colors, as well as some metallic colors for the belt buckles and things.
Flash is too gay and slow and shit to code. I'm doing this baby in C.
Vector gfx plzzz!
Yeah was just going to say, doesn't flash do vectors. Being able to resize your sprites that easy would save alot of time (for banners, bigger versions of enemy's etc..)
