Okay well Microsoft is being really slow and they aren't helping much. I will not write everything in here, I'll just link the topic to my problem and possibly you all can help me.
In this topic I am WarGod. so heres the link, and I hope someone can help me.
Also Yes, BPGaming is my gaming "company" I guess you can call and I'm very interested in using netGORE's engine for my first game. But here is the link:

Well I know she told me not to do that. I'm with my UAC on it wont let me change it. It automatically put it in Vista SP 2 compatibility. I tried doing this its a long list so keep up... well not really but whatere. LOL.
STEP 1. Okay So i followed the website she gave me (after deleteing the install file)
STEP 2. Restarted computer
STEP 3. Downloaded and tried again. Same issue, it just closes.
So i repeat step 1 then i turn UAC back on and do step 2 Then after step 2 was i done i did step 3 once again, however it tells me it didn't install right and asks if I want to try again in different settings. So now I'm here, and now its telling me that it CANT run in compatibility mode (I already knew this) But then i did steps 1 and 2 again, and now I'm here, I haven't re-downloaded the installer yet.

The Only thing I have installed is the C++ Redistribution Pack. I uninstalled that at one point too.
Spodi, do you have a MSN or Yahoo!?
Yeah, check my profile. But I am very, very rarely on them.
Ah, bah, I'm bout to give up on this... recheck my post see if you can figure it out
I would recommend completely removing every instance of VS from your computer, if you have any installed.
from there use AVG9 to do a quick scan.
re download VS2010 from microsoft, I assume your using the dreamspark program?
either burn, mount or extract the ISO (i used 7zip) into its own folder, run autorun.exe with administrator privileges.
I'm on Windows 7 Ultimate and it installed for me without a hitch.
and you can reach me on MSN messenger

What is dreamspark program? This is BPGaming on a different name... and how do i use AVG9 for that rofl
Dreamspark is Microsoft giving away free versions of development software. It's somewhat similar to Microsoft MSDN Academic Alliance but with less software.
YiChun Chen is telling you to NOT install in compatibility mode.
Often times, I find the problem is usually due to something the user did to mess up the installation of Visual Studio or an earlier version, such as registry cleaner programs or other "clean-up" programs. Using Add/Remove Programs, uninstall ALL of the Visual Studio 2003 and later stuff if you have any of it installed, then try to reinstall.
As fun as it is to say it makes no sense that Microsoft software does not work on a Microsoft OS, and as much as everyone likes to do this, it is rarely Microsoft's fault. Usually its the user's fault as they did "something" (usually very unorthodox) to their system, or another program is screwing things up in some way. Many Microsoft installers take into consideration a huge array of issues and inconsistencies already (one of the reasons it takes so long to install Microsoft products), but they can't catch everything. Its a problem you'll face in any OS that allows at least a moderate degree of customization and control.
And no, I'm not a Microsoft "fan-boy"... though maybe a VS fan-boy.
On a side note, you seem to be the only one to have this problem:

Maybe your installer file is invalid or corrupt. Try redownloading? Long shot, but worth a try I guess. Could also try turning UAC off if you have it on. Or shutting down other programs you have running (namely anti-virus/etc that may be blocking the installer from doing its job).
