Version 0.2.2 released

Version 0.2.2 is out. This mainly just consists of various bug fixes and some code improvements, but there are a few new features for the DbEditor and NPC Chat Editor. The only reason this release came out so quick is since the previous release was not packaged for release correctly.

Web server issues resolved

The site seems to be running stable again. Hopefully that will never happen again. Please let me (Spodi) know if you start to see errors with the site frequently.

Web server issues

We are currently facing some issues with the web server. From time to time, you may see random error pages (usually error code 500) while browsing the site, and downloads may be aborted before they finish. Hopefully this problem will be resolved quickly. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Version 0.2.1 released

Version 0.2.1 is finally out. Sorry it took so long, I kept wanting to add "just one more thing" before releasing. Before I realized it, a whole month had passed. There are tons of bug fixes and a lot of new (mostly minor) features, so hop on over to the download page and check it out.

Version 0.2.0 released

The the eighth release is out. This release wasn't really focused towards any one thing in particular, just fixing up and improving whatever came up. The biggest change by far is that Xna was replaced by SFML! Everything in the engine should look and feel pretty much the exact same, so to the end-user, this really means nothing. However, this change was made for a variety of reasons, including being able to add a sweet new content manager with content that is lazy-loading and automatically reloads, distribution will be easier since you no longer have to install XNA (SFML doesn't require installation). As an added bonus, NetGore is now cross-platform! There are a few parts that are not fully cross-platform (namely the editors), but the client and server should work fine on anything SFML runs on (which is currently Windows and Linux).

Version 0.1.2 released

The the seventh release is out! Like I promised, this release contains a vast number of improvements to the editing-side of the engine. Existing editors were improved and a new editor was added for editing the contents of your game. There are also quite a lot important performance and stability improvements, and a few new game features.

Version 0.1.1 released

Finally, the sixth release is out, and it is all about game features! I know it took a while, but there was a lot of very large features which took quite a while. Future releases will probably not take so long. Coming up will be a lot of work on editor-related stuff, so look forward to that!

Version 0.1.0 released

The fifth release is finally out after a lot of work. Its also finally time for NetGore to actually be "public" in the sense of that we'll actually tell people about it. So hopefully we will see some new faces around here over time. Smile

Version 0.0.4 released

Fourth release out. Quite a lot of nice improvements and features, both on the presentation layer and on the code layer. Check the downloads page for more information.

Version 0.0.3 released

Third release out. Probably nothing to get excited about feature-wise, but lots of improvement code-wise. Check the downloads page for more information.

This is also the first release where I generated the documentation. See the "Docs" tab above.
